Hand picked by the ultimate queen of reinvention, newly svelte Kelly Osbourne looks virtually unrecognisable as the new face of Madonna’s Material Girl fashion line. Taking up where Gossip Girl’s terminally ticked-off looking Taylor Momsen left off, Kelly’s clearly embraced her new-found fashionista status. And settled into her role of ambassador for the brand that was co-designed by Madge’s uber career focused 15 year old daughter, Lourdes. Shot in New York’s uber-trendy East Village by up and coming fashion snapper Brooke Nipar, Kelly shows off her size 6 frame in a variety of teeny mini skirts, fiesty leather jackets and cheeky bra tops that bear more than a striking resemblance to the ones that the original Material Girl made her trademark. But despite all the hard work Kelly went through to transform her into model shape, it looks like body perfectionist Madge could well have had something to do with the ‘ahem’ artistic direction of this shoot. Strategically placed jumbo sized ghetto blaster to conceal Kelly’s never-going-to-be-anything-les than-footballer’s legs? Check. Three quarter shot to disguise those enormous ham-hock calves? No problem. Heavy handed airbrusher to erase all those pesky stretch marks on her tummy? I’ll take two thanks. Yep, having Madonna at the photo shoot must have been just a teeny-weensy bit off-putting. Strike a pose,
